The 5 best office spaces in Zurich where business booms (and brews)

Finding the right office space in Zurich can feel like searching for the Wi-Fi password at a networking event—everyone’s looking, but only a few get the best stuff.

With Zurich’s fast-growing business scene, there is a rising demand for flexible, well-designed workspaces that are at an all-time high.

So, we set out to find the ones that actually help businesses grow, not just exist. We rolled up our sleeves to uncover the top office spaces in the city where businesses don’t just exist, they thrive.

And whether you’re scaling fast or starting fresh, these picks deliver flexibility and style.

How much does office space cost in Zurich?

Office space in Zurich typically costs between CHF 600 and CHF 1,800 per person per month in most shared office setups. However, prices may vary depending on inclusions such as utilities, internet, and other add-ons.

We tried the Regus Zurich City Centre space for our team, and it turned out to be a solid experience. The location in District 4 is super convenient. It’s just a few tram stops from the main station, so it’s easy to see why Microsoft, Disney+, and Spotify use their spaces.

And one of the biggest highlights is the private offices. They’re fully furnished, move-in ready, and come with helpful amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi, shared kitchens, and a staffed reception. We also appreciate the flexibility to customise layouts and furniture.

On top of that, they offer a range of options beyond private offices. This includes coworking, day offices, virtual setups, and even emergency offices that can be ready in under four hours.

If we had to point out one drawback, it would be the coworking area. While energetic and lively, it can get a bit noisy during peak hours, which makes it harder to concentrate at times.

Even so, the all-inclusive membership plan is an added benefit. With one monthly fee and no big upfront costs, budgeting is straightforward.

Pros

  • Central location
  • Fully furnished private offices
  • Customisable layouts
  • Variety of office types
  • Emergency office options
  • All-inclusive pricing

Cons

  • Coworking area can get noisy during peak hours

Modern, energising, and well-managed space

“This Regus Center is a great place to work. The office is modern and spacious, creating an energizing and comfortable atmosphere. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and there are quiet spaces for focus and collaboration zones for team brainstorming. Isaura is incredibly helpful, she always goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly.”’

A professional environment that supports focus

“I am very pleased with the Regus office environment; the facilities are well maintained, the staff is friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere is conducive to productivity.”

Spaces integrates historic architecture with modern design in one of Zurich’s most scenic lakeside districts. The building features floor-to-ceiling windows, a rooftop terrace, and six floors of flexible office space.

We found the layout of private offices to be well thought out. Everything was fully furnished, with 24/7 access and practical extras like showers, bike storage, and breakout areas.

Their offices are serviced, all-inclusive, and easily scalable. It’s something that stood out to us, especially for teams that are expected to grow or shift quickly.

What’s more, they have a truly relaxed, residential feel with cafes, leafy streets, and a nearby lake. It’s a beautiful area, though slightly removed from Zurich’s main business and transport hubs.

Overall, what we appreciated most was the sense of community. The shared spaces, casual meetups, and regular events make it easy to connect with others without feeling forced.

Pros

  • Stylish, lakeside setting
  • Fully furnished and well-planned layout
  • Offers practical extras that support daily routines
  • Ideal for growing teams (no long-term lock-ins)
  • Excellent for work-life balance
  • Great for casual networking and collaboration

Cons

  • Slightly removed from Zurich’s main transport links

Great for productivity and networking

“An inspiring working environment, modern design and friendly service. Perfect for productive work and networking. Highly recommended!”

Bright, clean, and friendly work atmosphere

“The colleagues on site are very friendly and solution-oriented. They were always able to help me very quickly. The rooms are bright and very clean. Perfect working environment!”

We found that FlexOffice offers well-designed workspaces with a clear focus on comfort and aesthetics. At first glance, it feels more like a curated lounge than a typical office, with rooftop access and barista-style coffee that add to its appeal.

We also appreciate that it is located in the Zurich Prime Tower, offering expansive city views across three floors. The proximity to Hardbrücke station, food trucks, and local restaurants makes commuting and lunch breaks easy for most teams.

The setup emphasises effortless functionality. We love how their offices come furnished, and essentials like meeting rooms, phone booths, and printing stations are available without the need for extra setup.

We also noticed the impressive common areas. We really love the open kitchens, relaxed lounges, and quiet corners that support organic interaction without pressure to network.

However, the all-inclusive pricing may be less practical for smaller teams, especially if they won’t utilise the included extras fully. With shared facilities bundled into the monthly fee, teams with lighter needs may end up paying for features they don’t utilise.

Pros

  • Modern and thoughtfully designed workspaces
  • Provides rooftop access and barista-style coffee
  • Prime location with city views and easy transit
  • Fully furnished and ready-to-use offices
  • Has common areas for work and casual chats

Cons

  • Pricing may not suit smaller teams
  • Some extras may go unused by smaller setups

Exceptional service in a thoughtful workspace

Our company has been occupying an office at FlexOffice in Primetower since September 2023 and we could not be happier. It is in a prime location with nice design and thought-through layouts of the offices, communal areas, kitchen and meeting rooms. We have also used other FlexOffice locations in Basel and Geneva, which were great. What sets this serviced office apart is the exceptional customer service. The FlexOffice team is incredibly responsive to any requests, always happy to help or ready to make suggestions. A special shoutout to the location manager, Daniel, who is very welcoming and makes sure the members have everything that they need. Additionally, Daniel organizes monthly drinks and sport events that are a nice opportunity to mingle and meet people from other companies. If you are looking for a serviced office, I highly recommend FlexOffice.”

Premium workspace with inspiring city views

“Prime Tower Zürich offers an exceptional workspace experience! The modern, high-rise setting provides inspiring views of the city, and the office facilities are equipped with everything a professional needs to stay productive. The staff is incredibly professional and always quick to assist with any request, making it easy to focus on work without distractions. The environment is both vibrant and comfortable, perfect for fostering collaboration and creativity. Highly recommended for any business seeking a premium workspace in the heart of Zürich! Special thanks to Daniel B for making it a great place to work!”

Resilient Studios brings a creative blend of business and culture right into the heart of Zurich’s Seefeld district.

The atmosphere feels more like a curated hub than a typical coworking space, with leafy surroundings, proximity to a lake, and a strong design aesthetic.

The variety of spaces stands out. From flex and fixed desks to private offices and even full corporate spaces. The all-inclusive rates, which include access to meeting rooms, phone booths, and high-quality furnishings, make it easy to plug in and get to work.

However, the layout favours an open-plan design with minimal partitions. This creates a collaborative atmosphere, but it isn’t always ideal for deep focus. The space also doubles as an event venue, which can blur the line between work and social settings.

But the little perks make up for these drawbacks. We love the free coffee and tea, a supportive community manager, and an in-house food service that’s available on demand.

Pros

  • Located in the central area
  • Flexible workspace options
  • All-inclusive pricing
  • Stylish interiors
  • Conducts on-site events

Cons

  • Limited privacy in open areas
  • Events can get distracting and noisy

Great event venue with friendly staff
Work event held here. Friendly helpful staff, great location. Would definitely consider using again”

Great location and space

“Top location: in the middle of Seefeld, near the lake. Plus well-equipped offices with everything you need. Quiet work areas, co-working, kitchen, nice people and much more. Highly recommended!”

We love Office LAB’s practicality and flexibility for modern teams. With a flat fee that covers everything, it’s one of the most all-inclusive setups we’ve seen. We like that everything’s ready to go—no separate invoices, no surprises.

Like other spaces on this list, their location is especially convenient. It’s near Altstetten train station and surrounded by essentials like Letzipark shopping centre and a daycare onsite.

And it doesn’t end there because they offer impressive extras that not all office spaces on this list provide. The facility offers massage services, a Starbucks corner, and over 50 bookable meeting rooms.

Additionally, the atmosphere is professional and relaxed. The regular community events also help bring people together without any pressure.

However, some users have mentioned that the open areas can become a little noisy during the weekdays, and Wi-Fi can occasionally experience slowdowns in shared zones. If your work depends on steady connectivity or deep focus, it’s something to consider.

Pros

  • Flat-fee pricing (all-inclusive, no hidden costs)
  • Fully furnished and ready-to-use office spaces
  • Close to public transport and establishments
  • Over 50 bookable meeting rooms
  • Offers impressive amenities
  • Relaxed and professional atmosphere

Cons

  • Open zones can get noisy during peak hours
  • Inconsistent Wi-Fi performance

Spacious, flexible, and team-friendly environment

“My team and I have our office in the coworking space Office LAB. I am very impressed by the modern and professional working environment. The premises are very spacious and offer a variety of workspaces, perfect for lone workers, teams and companies.”

It’s a place where the new work culture comes to life

“Office Lab impresses not only with its comfortable environment, but also with its unique service concept: customers, business partners and friends feel in good hands and are warmly welcomed. As a company, you have an excellent infrastructure for office space and at the same time the opportunity to organize your own events and make social and business contacts. I have already been able to build some valuable and enriching relationships here in both business and private contexts. The philosophy of ‘New work’ is truly lived in the Office Lab.”
