Their Carefree Package is one of the most all-inclusive managed bundles we’ve seen. It covers the workplace, network, telephony, security, and cloud at one monthly rate.
Plus, on-site visits are arranged when needed for more stubborn issues.
However, their services are tailored toward SMEs rather than casual home users. If you’re looking for a quick consumer-level PC fix, it’s probably not the right match.
What sold us was their in-house data recovery paired with clean-room partnerships, plus a free analysis before committing. Their customer portal is another strong point: tracking tickets and invoices in one place feels transparent and empowering.
And the fact that they’re investing in AI automation consulting for SMEs shows they’re not just reactive repair techs but future-focused IT partners. We left feeling they spot problems before you even know they exist, which in the IT world is pure gold.

DQ Solutions is an official Apple Premium Reseller and Authorised Service Provider. They’ve been around since 1979 and even pioneered Apple’s “premium shopping experience” concept in 2022, making the Zurich store the first in the world to do so.
However, their expertise is laser-focused on Apple products only. If your issue involves Windows, Linux, or Android, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
Our MacBook Pro and iPhone were repaired here. Each time, the Apple-certified technicians used parts and followed the same procedures you’d get at an Apple Store.
Turnaround times are impressive too. Most Mac repairs take just 3–5 business days.
Another perk worth noting is their CarePlan warranty extension. That’s CHF 99 for three years, with options for four or five, and it includes a pickup-repair service. They also handle rarer services like liquid damage cleaning, which saved our friend’s iPad from an early death.
Beyond repairs, we love their “experience centre” vibe—hands-on workshops, iPad-for-kids programs, and even device rentals make it more than a shop. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling like you learned something, not just spent money.

However since this was a quick fix, the consultant agreed to try and solve the issue on the spot without additional costs. If you’ve ever had a computer break down at the worst possible time, Druckertheke is a lifesaver. The team works quickly, talks straight, and never tries to upsell you on things you don’t need, something we really appreciate.
The diagnostics start at around CHF 40, making it more budget-friendly than many other Zurich shops. Most small repairs are quoted fairly on the spot, which is a relief if you’re in the middle of work or travel and just need a quick, honest fix.
However, one thing worth noting is that they reportedly don’t accept card payments, so be ready with cash or an alternative payment method. This caught us off guard the first time, especially when we weren’t carrying enough cash.
Still, we like that they employ a straightforward, everyday repair approach. Whether it’s a slow laptop or a system check-up, the team handles it quickly and explains things in plain language.
They also offer printer-related services, such as cleanings and emergency printer rentals. They even handle professional cartridge refilling with Swiss-developed inks.

“I like the gentleman behind the printer counter. Super nice and always very helpful. But… Today I wanted to buy some paper. The shop is shared with a hairdresser. I sat down. Nice to be at a sufficient distance from the other clients. The hairdresser had a lovely lively conversation with her client. I think in Russian. Then she saw me and, with the help of her client, told me to get out immediately. I could wait outside for 30 minutes until I got the paper. There would be too many people in the room. It goes without saying that this is okay given the Corona crisis. I just didn’t like her unpleasant tone. Above all, the situation was a bit dramatically strange because the lady and her client were not wearing face masks. During the Corona crisis, people are a bit irritated. Deluxe IT is a boutique-style shop that is a go-to for anyone who treats their tech like a prized possession. Walking in without an appointment was easy, and they even offer pickup and delivery.
From our visit, we have seen that they thrive on handling serious tech. Their service list is as broad as it is precise. They cover PC, laptop, Mac, iPhone, and iPad repairs, as well as SME-focused IT solutions such as server deployment and network support.
What stood out for us was their transparent, itemised pricing. You know exactly what CHF 149 gets you for diagnostics, or CHF 399 for a full OS reinstall, including email, AV setup, home delivery, and training.
It’s also worth mentioning their express treatment service for urgent cases, which saved us when we needed a last-minute data recovery. The shop’s size is modest, but its technical expertise inside is on another level.
However, one drawback is their unclear Apple repair certification status. Just note that hey’re not listed as an Apple Authorized Provider like some competitors.
