1. The Paw House

Address: Seefeldstrasse 139, 8008
Contact Details: +41 78 203 30 07
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Located in Zurich’s Seefeld district, The Paw House feels like a boutique retreat for pups. It embraces every breed and age, from tiny Chihuahuas to sprightly seniors, and we love how inclusive the pack atmosphere is.
Inside, the small-group daycare model blends playful romp sessions with professional training led by certified experts. We appreciate the personalised confidence-building and leash-manners workshops that enrich every dog’s day.
After playtime, on-site grooming for dogs weighing under 15 kg transforms boarding into a spa-like experience. From wash and cut to blow-dry and nail trim, pups leave feeling pampered.
The cosy indoor suites and leafy outdoor yards really feel more like home than a kennel. However, suite availability is limited. Plus, strict weekend or overnight stays require 48 hours notice, which can be tricky for last-minute plans.
Regardless, we still appreciate their flexible online booking. The free meet-and-greet sessions also give you and your dog a stress-free chance to tour the space, meet the carers, and sample a mini playtime before you commit.
Sophie’s happy play haven
“My bulldog Sophie absolutely loves her time at the daycare – it’s truly her happy place! Ruxi and her amazing team go above and beyond with their care, flexibility, and open communication. I really appreciate that doggies are free to run and play outside in a garden at their own pace (not as others do – in a short leash walk) and how the perfect balance between play and rest is offered. The photo and video updates are such a joy to receive – they brighten my day and reassure me that Sophie is in the best hands. I’m so grateful for everything they do! Thank you guys!! 🤗”

Poodle’s paw-some playgroup
“Ruxi has been a great pet sitter for our young poodle for the last two months. The dog groups are usually small and dogs of all sizes seem to be very friendly to each other. Our poodle is looking forward to many more days at the Paw House.”

2. Dog Affair

Address: Brandschenkestrasse 130, 8002
Contact Details: +41 76 390 90 17
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Dog Affair’s location combines a dog school, a grooming salon, and a boutique under one roof. We admire how every need is met without juggling multiple appointments. It’s the ultimate one-stop setup for play, training, and pampering.
However, boutique treatment is exclusive to small and medium dogs only, with groups capped at 12 to ensure focused care and attention. Large breeds often even require a visit to a partner location for grooming. It’s a hassle to coordinate between two venues instead of one.
Also, certified FBA carers lead socialisation and leash-handling sessions during play. We love how integrated training keeps tails wagging while skills sharpen.
The on-site “Dog Spa” also pampers pups from head to tail with a gentle wash, precise cut, fluffy blow-dry, nail trimming, and ear cleaning using dog-safe products. It’s a full-on grooming experience that feels luxe.
We also love that the boutique carries sustainably sourced treats. These are perfect for guilt-free rewards after a spa day.
Top-notch training and caring staff
“We’ve had a great experience with Dog Affair! We started with puppy classes and training for our toy poodle Luna, and she loved it. The team is friendly, professional, and really cares about the dogs. We also did a dog first aid course recently, which was very informative. We’re hoping to do their off-leash walking course soon too. Highly recommend!”

Social, structured, and Mila-approved
“Mila is living her best life meeting her friends at Dog Affair weekly. Her excursions and walks in nature are inspiration for us, and all complemented by discipline and socialising skills in a safe environment of 12 dogs per class. She gets so excited whenever we get close to school! Bravo, Team at Dog Affair!”

3. Zuripets

Address: Boulevard Lilienthal 5, 8152 Glattpark (Opfikon)
Contact Details: +41 44 810 80 00
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: Open 24 hours
Zuripets’ boarding rolls out the red carpet for pups. They offer 24/7 care, vet services, and physiotherapy all under one roof. This holistic setup ensures worry-free holidays for both pets and their owners.
We love the chic living room vibe too—ambient lighting, custom scents, and dog-friendly TV. Memory foam beds and air conditioning keep pups cosy, while safety gates and video surveillance keep them secure.
Aside from that, their on-site grooming goes beyond baths with thalassotherapy, aromatherapy, and breed-specific styling. We also value the medical-grade care and quick access to Dr. Nowicki. The only catch? These top-tier extras come at a premium price.
But bonus perks, such as self-wash stations and certified FBA carers, round out the experience. We were truly delighted by their quick health checks, personalised training, and physiotherapy to ensure pups stay happy and healthy all the time.
Calming and personalised dog daycare
“Absolutely delighted with the services from Markus, Bea and team. Highly recommended. Our dog can be quite nervous and afraid but he loves going into daycare and staying overnight or for holidays. The team really look out for his individual needs and treat him like their own pet. It is a completely different level of care than we have had from other daycares. Wallace comes home happy and tired and we notice an improvement in his behaviour over time.”

Affectionate two-week cat sitting
“Züripets took care of our cats Audrey and Gracie while we were on a two-weeks vacation. We are very happy about how they looked after the cats, with daily visits and plenty of pictures so that we would miss them a bit less while we were away. We felt throughout our holiday that our cats were in really good hands and got the feeling that this is not just a job for Züripets but that there is genuine affection and care for the pets that they are looking after. For example, they wouldn’t just feed the cats but also spend time with them and play with them so that they wouldn’t feel too alone. 100% recommended!”

With over 15 years of experience, Hunde Abenteuerland offers on-site physiotherapy and massage to keep our pups healthy. We love how carers utilise balance boards, hydrotherapy, and tailored exercises tailored to each dog’s needs.
But their best offering is their free doggie taxi. Yes, they offer such a service from Zurich Central, so you don’t have to drive. Pick-up at 7:45 AM and drop-off at 5:45 PM fit easily into schedules. And what’s even nicer is that overnight stays are available.

Holiday rescue & photo updates
“Chris and Agata at Hundeabenteuerland rescued our Christmas holiday! We had planned a week of skiing but didn’t realize we couldn’t leave our dog in the chalet while on the slopes. Thankfully, Hundeabenteuerland came to the rescue! They organized everything seamlessly, met us in Zurich, and took amazing care of our pup for the entire week. We loved the regular photo updates and honestly think our dog had more fun than we did! 🐾 Thank you so much for everything—highly recommend!”

Trusted weekly daycare
“Our dog Luna has been going to Hundeabenteuerland every week since she was 3 months. Christopher and Agata are the most caring and passionate people. We absolutely trust them and we are always happy to know that Luna has lots of fun and exercise during daycare. The daily pictures are also lovely!”

The staff are super lovely, and cater for any situation that arises. The facility is clean, safe, and well-managed, and we love getting updates and photos of his day. Flexible, fun and full-service
“The staff at My Dog Company are just super. They’ve been taking wonderful care of our Labradoodle puppy, Willow, for over a month. We so much appreciate their scheduling flexibility and quick, friendly communication. We even left Willow with them for 10 days while we were on summer holidays. From the many photos they shared, she clearly had an excellent time with all her dog friends – including some of her first swims! They also gave her a great, needed cleaning and trim. Highly, highly recommend all the services of My Dog Company!!”
