Keep your clothes in top shape with these 5 laundry services in Zurich
If you’ve ever stared at a laundry pile and thought, “Maybe I’ll just buy new clothes,” you’re not alone. Washing, drying, folding—a whole workout you never signed up for.
That’s pretty understandable because Zurich life is busy enough without adding spin cycles to your schedule. And whether you like it or not, some chores are just better off in expert hands.
That’s why, with a good laundry service in Zurich, your clothes come back fresh, clean, and ready to wear. And what about you? Well, you get your weekend back.
How much do laundry services cost in Zurich?
Laundry services in Zurich typically cost between CHF 3.50 and CHF 8 per kilogram for standard wash-and-fold services, with dry cleaning ranging from CHF 15 to CHF 25. Many providers also offer express service for an extra CHF 5 – CHF 10.
1. Tick

Address: Aegertstrasse 11, 8305 Dietlikon
Contact Details: [email protected]
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
Tick is one of Zurich’s most forward-thinking laundry platforms. Everything runs through its website or app—you register, get your laundry bags, and schedule pickups or deliveries without lifting a finger.
Their colour-coded bag system blew me away: blue for regular machine wash, pink for shirts and blouses, and green for dry-clean only. It takes all the sorting stress out.
However, the one snag is their limited geographic coverage. If you live outside certain Zurich codes, you must drop off at a pick-up station instead of enjoying door-to-door service.
On the bright side, the flexibility is hard to beat. In urban Zurich, you can even request a courier to swing by in 30 minutes, and they’ll send you an email or push notification right before pickup or delivery, which is super handy when you’re juggling a busy day.
We also appreciated the little extras, such as the option to choose between eco-friendly detergents and the ability to request small repairs directly in the app.
Prices seemed fair for the convenience, with shirts starting at CHF 3.50 and laundry bags priced at CHF 38.
Service was efficient, and my clothes came out clean
“I had a very positive experience with this laundry service. The service was efficient, and my clothes came out clean without any damage or bad odors. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the process quick and easy. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality they offer, and my clothes were delivered on time, just as promised. The place was also very clean and organized, which gave me confidence when leaving my clothes there.”

Smells fresh, perfectly cleaned, and carefully folded
“I visited a good friend in Switzerland for an extended period and used the services of Tick Laundry during my stay – and I was absolutely thrilled! Not only was the service fast and reliable, but my laundry also came back smelling fresh, perfectly cleaned, and carefully folded. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the team. I highly recommend this service and will definitely use it again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars – absolutely top-notch!”

2. Terlinden Textilpflege

Address: Halle Landesmuseum, 2, 8001
Contact Details: +41442120846
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7 AM – 9 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM – 8 PM
Terlinden Textilpflege’s roots date back to 1868, with the company officially registering in 1950. Although its headquarters are in Küsnacht, its extensive branch network scattered across Zurich makes life easier, so drop-offs never feel like a chore.
They handle shirts, linens, leather clothing, curtains, carpets, upholstery, duvets, and even pillows. Having an in-house sewing atelier is a nice surprise too, letting you fix up minor tailoring needs right on the spot without running around town.
Another highlight is their Shirt Express Service, which cleans within 24 hours or by arrangement at branches. Their delivery options are practical too, for bigger items like carpets or curtains, which makes things happen quickly.
On top of that, their home delivery service within Zurich is free for a wide range of items, making it convenient.
We also thought their office collection service for corporate clients and monthly invoicing system show how tuned they are to individuals and businesses.
However, their express services may come with surcharges, and pricing clarity isn’t always clearly stated upfront.
Very nice service
“Very nice service. Both items of clothing have been dry cleaned and ironed. A stain was overlooked during the first cleaning and I was able to have the pants cleaned again without paying extra. Thank you!”

3. Texpress Textilpflege AG

Address: Flughafen Zürich, Airport Shopping, 8058
Contact Details: +41438182494
Business Hours:
- Monday to Sunday: 8 AM – 9 PM
Texpress struck me as one of Switzerland’s most modern textile care and shirt-service companies.
With a central facility in Büron (LU) and approximately 22–23 branches scattered across German-speaking Switzerland, they have established a wide market presence.
However, while they provide home and office pick-up and delivery, the service zones and frequency aren’t always clear if you live in Zurich’s residential areas.
Regardless, we found their express solutions genuinely impressive. Whether it’s same-day service at city branches or the 24-hour drop-off and pick-up option at Zürich Airport, it feels tailored for travellers, shift workers, and anyone constantly on the go.
Their service range is broader than expected. They cover home laundry, shirt service, quick tailoring, leather and carpet care, and even smoke-damage treatment.
On top of everything, we appreciated their focus on eco-friendly operations—water and energy efficiency innovations felt more than just a marketing ploy. When we got our shirts back, they smelled fresh and carried that reassuring sense of care.
Everything was dry, neatly folded, and well handled
“Opted for the “kilo wash” and collected the load the following day, exactly as promised by the friendly and helpful team. Unlike my experiences with other laundromats, there were no missing or extra items — everything was dry, neatly folded, and well handled. A much-needed service in a convenient location, especially for those staying nearby!”

We appreciate the excellent service
“We can rely on the support of Texpress Textilpflege. The pickup and delivery service allows us to have our guest laundry picked up in the morning and returned the same afternoon. This is of great importance to our hotel and Lucerne as a tourist destination. We appreciate the excellent service!”

4. Laundry Lounge

Address: Hönggerstrasse 117, 8037
Contact Details: +41442715500
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8 AM – 6 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Laundry Lounge immediately caught our attention because of its café-style concept. It feels less like a laundrette and more like a social hub. With free Wi-Fi, cosy seating, and a light, open atmosphere, we enjoyed the wait instead of rushing through it.
You can choose self-service washers starting at CHF 8 per load, or leave your clothes for a professional wash-and-fold service. Additionally, they offer a chemical cleaning option—a very convenient option for delicate pieces that you don’t want to risk at home.
Another thing is how tech-friendly the setup is. You can book pick-up and delivery from an online account, choose between one-time or subscription models, and even handle payments via card or monthly billing.
On the flip side, their return policy might be an issue for some customers. If items aren’t collected within a set timeframe, the company reserves the right to assume ownership.
Still, their efficiency made us happy. We tested the 24-hour express service and got back shirts that looked freshly pressed without any stiffness.
Extremely gentle and careful with all materials
“Absolutely phenomenal. They are able to remove stains from clothing even after they’ve been washed at home. I bring my winter coats and puffer jackets twice a year and any other type of clothing (jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, joggers, …) if i need a stain removed or proper ironing done. They are extremely gentle and careful with all materials.”

The whole experience feels personal and stress-free
“I highly recommend Laundry-Lounge! My husband has been using their laundry and ironing service for a while now, and every single time, his shirts come back looking absolutely perfect—fresh, clean, and beautifully pressed. It’s clear that they put so much care into their work. What really stands out, though, is the warmth and kindness of the team. They’re always so friendly and professional, making the whole experience feel personal and stress-free. It’s such a pleasure knowing we can always count on them for such reliable and top-notch service. 👌🏼”

5. Gawgani Laundry

Address: Limmattalstrasse 236, 8049
Contact Details: +41443424565
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 12 PM and 2 PM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 12 PM – 4 PM
We gave Gawgani Laundry a try for their mix of tradition and modern eco-care, and it didn’t disappoint. They’ve been running since 1999 out of Limmattalstrasse 236 in Zürich-Höngg, which already says a lot about their staying power.
Their switch from harsh chemicals to liquid silicones caught our attention. This made the cleaning process skin-friendly and environmentally safe. Even delicate fabrics and leather came back spotless, with a protective layer that prevented stains from setting in.
We also liked their hand-ironed shirt service, which felt more polished than machine-pressed alternatives. The finish was sharp and consistent, with a boutique-quality detail that you don’t often see in laundry shops.
Another standout was their pick-up and delivery service. It’s flexible, covering various districts and areas, such as Regensdorf or Zollikon. The low CHF 39 minimum order makes it accessible for larger loads, and the transparent price list keeps surprises at bay.
The only drawback is the CHF 39 minimum spend, which feels steep if you only have a few small pieces to send out.
The price is considered reasonable
“We stayed at a hotel in the city centre and couldn’t find too many places to do our laundry. A few self-service laundromats were either very poorly reviewed or not opened on Monday. Fortunately this was and the person in charge was very friendly and we washed two loads of our clothes (their machines are not American-sized, as the owner told me, and could only handle 5-6kg per load) there. We passed over the clothes in Monday morning and collected them on Tuesday afternoon. The price is considered reasonable by Swiss standard at around 16 CHF for wash and dry (without folding) for a 5kg bag. The owner speaks good English and I would recommend this as a good place for tourists and visitors to have their laundry done. I considered the 25min travel time (one way) via tram from the city centre as well spent.”

Very friendly staff who speak fluent English
“We dropped our clothes around 6pm and they were ready next morning to pickup. Our bag of clothes was washed/dried, it was only 15CHF and saved the time otherwise spent on waiting 1-2hrs in a coin laundry. The owner was very friendly and speaks fluent English.”
