When a friend of ours mentioned Tanja Wolf Life Coaching & Beratung, we decided to check it out. We were a little nervous at first, not knowing what to expect. But during our session, Tanja immediately put us at ease.

Her coaching is sensitive and attentive. She has a way of explaining complex issues while giving practical advice that actually applies to both relationships and life in general.

We love that she works across personal, partnership, and professional topics, including business coaching. Here, Tanja recommends three to five sessions to tackle deeper challenges, which makes sense given the thought and care that go into each conversation.

Pricing-wise, a 90-minute session for private clients is around CHF 330, payable directly after each session. And for corporate accounts, her rate is CHF 250 per hour.

However, for those who prefer fully remote coaching, it’s worth noting that Tanja doesn’t offer virtual life coaching sessions.

Pros

  • Goal-oriented with practical guidance
  • Tailors sessions to personal, partnership, and professional needs
  • Affordable sessions
  • Offers business coaching

Cons

  • Not ideal for those looking for a one-off solution
  • No online sessions

Intense but inspiring sessions

“Tanja helped me recognize old patterns, overcome blockages, and regain self-confidence. Every session with her was intense, inspiring, and full of aha moments. I always felt understood and supported – without pressure, but with a lot of heart and professionalism.”

“The lady is more than competent and definitely highly recommended. I felt very comfortable, and my challenges were clearly met with positive results. Anyone who wants to be happy should turn to Ms. Wolf. My personal number one, who is recommended daily to those around me. Ms. Wolf accompanied me with love and understanding. If there were 100,000 stars, I would give them all here.”

A few months ago, we started looking into life coaching programs that go beyond one-off sessions, and that’s how we found Crista from Upskilled.

So if you’re someone who prefers structured, long-term growth, then this twelve-week coaching program may be the one for you. This program runs for 12 weeks, and you’ll join 15 like-minded people while still having space to focus on your personal topics.

Each week, we attended a ninety-minute moderated group coaching session. The program includes twelve modules packed with clear objectives and actionable content.

Just be ready to pay CHF 990 for the entire program, which honestly felt like a reasonable investment in a well-structured life-coaching program.

However, this type of program could feel long for some. Additionally, one-off sessions aren’t completely offered here, so you really have to commit to the entire program.

What we like about this life coaching program is that it doesn’t follow the traditional one-on-one coaching model. Instead, it blends group training, self-study resources, and free online videos too.

Meanwhile, for those who prefer virtual learning, you’ll also get interactive workbooks and over twelve hours of coaching materials covering a wide range of focus areas, from mental resilience to personal branding.

Pros

  • Structured twelve-week program with clear modules
  • Virtual group coaching format
  • Mental Strength training with science-backed mindset tools
  • Supportive and diverse participant group

Cons

  • No traditional one-on-one coaching
  • Requires long-term commitment

Clear approach

“I can highly recommend the coaching with Crista! She is super empathetic, clear in her approach, and conveyed the content brilliantly. Our course consisted of 4 modules, and it really helped me tackle my career transition. I also discovered so many fascinating insights about myself, which have been helpful for my journey ahead and in tackling personal challenges. What I particularly appreciated was the exchange with the other participants – super friendly and diverse. It always felt like we were engaging as equals and supporting each other’s growth. All in all: Absolutely recommendable if you’re looking for professional yet genuinely human coaching 👍💡”

Makes you feel seen and understood

“I would do another coaching session with Crista in a heartbeat and can wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone. She not only possesses an incredible wealth of psychological expertise and experience, but also a unique intuition for people – you immediately feel truly seen and understood. With great sensitivity and genuine interest, she initiated important processes within me, asked precisely the right questions, and guided me in the right direction in an empowering way. The coaching with her was one of the most valuable experiences of my life, and I cannot thank her enough.”

Kim Alexandra Eberle is a hypnotherapist and course instructor. Her approach feels especially welcoming if you’re a woman juggling energy dips, stress, and the daily grind.

Before we even signed up for anything, we noticed that she offers a free video course focused on recharging your energy battery.

What we love about Kim is that her background is a good mix of coaching and therapeutic training. She’s a Certified Hypnotherapist, trained in hypnosis and talk therapy. She has also worked with the Dr. Bock Coaching Academy in Berlin for life coaching.

You’ll also love that her services aren’t limited to individuals. Kim also works with institutions, offering nursing coaching in healthcare settings and intensive self-hypnosis seminars for nurses.

Another thing we love about her is that she always lets us choose which groupmates we want to pair up with during exercises, which makes collaboration fun and not forced.

And yes, during group chats, she would gladly engage and give cheerful reactions too.

However, group-based programs may not appeal to those who prefer individual sessions. Also, hypnotherapy isn’t for everyone, as some people would prefer methods without it.

Pros

  • Free introductory course
  • Combines life coaching with hypnotherapy
  • Offers specialised coaching and seminars for healthcare professionals

Cons

  • Focuses on group-based life coaching programs
  • No weekend availability

Has a unique way of getting clients to open up

“Kim takes her time to not only teach you to understand but she learns from it too. She made me really enjoyed being part of the class and that my input is as important anybody’s. She has a unique way of getting you to open up to the different ways of understanding the topic in question. I was honored to be thought by Kim.”

Utilises digital tools

“I attended an advanced training course with Kim on eHealth. I found her to be focused, friendly, and convincing. She had a very structured approach, precise communication, and confident use of digital tools. In short: creative and professional—no frills, just impact.”

Address: Grossmünsterplatz 6, 8001 Zürich

Contact Details: +41 79 742 90 64

Website

We first came across Sandra Lutz while researching life coaches who blend professional depth with real human insight. Not only is she a life coach, but she’s also a co-lecturer at the University of Basel in the Master’s program for Human Medicine, a mentor, and a speaker.

And knowing that she works at the intersection of personal development and medical education gave us confidence that her approach would be grounded and evidence-informed.

It’s worth noting, however, that her availability may be limited by her academic commitments.

Nonetheless, we loved learning about her is her multicultural background. As the daughter of a Japanese woman and a Swiss man, she brings a global perspective to her coaching.

And if you want to dig deeper into her ideas before booking a session, she also has a book called You, First, which explores practical ways to put your own values and well-being at the centre of your decisions.

Meanwhile, for those who want to test the waters, Sandra offers a free forty-five-minute initial online one-on-one consultation.

We also appreciate their lenient cancellation policy. Just remember to call them twenty-four hours in advance so they can help you find the next suitable time.

Pros

  • Free 45-minute consultations
  • A university lecturer and mentor
  • Flexible cancellation policy
  • Offers workshops intended for medical professionals

Cons

  • Limited availability due to academic commitments
  • No formal business hours

Strategies are easy to implement

“I had the pleasure of working with Sandra Lutz in the autumn of 2019. I reached out to her because I felt like in my personal life, I was going in circles. Working with Sandra was truly transformative for me. Her approach was holistic and the strategies we created were easy to implement and felt like a natural progression. Sandra is warm, kind, and easy to open up to. I would highly recommend reaching out to Sandra Lutz if life-coaching is something you are looking into.”

Fun sessions

“Coaching with Sandra Lutz has helped me progress a lot. As I wished, she helped me step out of my comfort zone and take the next steps. With her clever questions, she got me thinking and helped me see new possibilities. Sandra is very creative and, depending on the situation, has given me unconventional ideas or very specific (business) tips. Last but not least, she is super nice, empathetic, and humorous, which makes the sessions a lot of fun. Thank you so much, dear Sandra :-)”

Address: Hofenstrasse 93, 8708 Männedorf

Website

For those of you who are thinking about taking a step forward in your career or personal life, Lenka Sedlacek might be someone you’ll want to meet.

Before she became a coach, Lenka spent years in finance and even international business. Because of these, her coaching doesn’t feel abstract or detached from real work life. Instead, it feels strategic and grounded.

Over the years, she’s built up strong coaching credentials too. Lenka even holds MBTI Certification Step I and II, has training in Somatic coaching, and has worked with NLP techniques.

What we like about this blend is that it brings both structure and depth, so sessions can help you think clearly while also helping you tune into how your body and mindset are connected.

We also love that she’s not strictly a ‘yes coach’. So if something seems out of sync with your long-term growth, you can expect her to help you question assumptions.

And if you’re still unsure whether coaching is what you need, we highly recommend trying the free thirty-minute discovery call.

Pros

  • Ideal for career change and leadership development
  • Strong blend of corporate experience and psychological insight
  • Holds MBTI and Somatic coaching certification

Cons

  • Limited online resources and materials
