The 5 Best Prenatal Massage Centres in Zurich for Immediate Relief

Therapist Qualifications: Specialised pregnancy massage certifications ensure proper care for maternal anatomical changes. We prioritised clinics with therapists trained in prenatal safety and gentle techniques.

Treatment Adaptability: Bodywork needs shift across each trimester as pressure points and comfort levels change. We picked practices offering customised sessions with safe positioning like side-lying setups.

Health Insurance Coverage: Maternal wellness expenses accumulate rapidly throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery. We selected practices recognised by Swiss supplementary health insurance schemes to help lower out-of-pocket costs.

Booking Accessibility: Busy schedules and unpredictable energy levels require straightforward scheduling options. We evaluated clinics with flexible operating hours, central locations, and easy appointment systems.

Pregnancy changes your body quickly, and sudden aches or swollen ankles can easily ruin your day. Lower back strain, fluid retention, and endless stress make taking care of yourself crucial during these months.

Aside from relying on naturopaths, finding the best prenatal massage in Zurich helps ease those heavy legs and aching muscles so you can rest properly.

That’s why we looked into the top local practices to help you get the gentle, reliable care you deserve. Keep reading to find out more about these experts!

Founder Iris Fröhlich, an experienced therapist with over 20 years of practice, built her clinic to focus on pregnancy and postnatal care. She uses a specialised massage table that allows safe face-down positioning, alongside side-lying options.

During our recent visit, she walked us through how she tailors each session using reflexology and manual lymphatic drainage to relieve swelling.

We’re pleased to know that her practice holds full recognition from Swiss health insurance providers, which helps cover costs if you have supplementary insurance.

However, the first five to ten minutes of your booked appointment go toward consultation, changing, and billing. This setup leaves slightly less hands-on treatment time during a standard hour session.

Focuses her therapy precisely where it will be most effective

With Mirjam, I feel completely at ease. She is an excellent practitioner and caters to the individual needs of her clients. Before each treatment, she inquires about any current physical challenges and focuses her therapy precisely where it will be most effective. The overall experience is also perfect: whether it’s conversation, relaxation, or music – she always considers personal preferences. A truly soothing experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Her massages are soothing, relaxing

I’ve had several treatments with Lisa Greene and can wholeheartedly recommend her. Lisa is incredibly empathetic and competent, and she creates an atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable and cared for. Her massages are soothing, relaxing, and at the same time very gentle, tailored to individual needs. Thank you so much, Lisa – I’ll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, occasional errors in their online booking system have caused scheduling conflicts and shortened appointment times for some patients.

Contact: +41 76 247 38 88

Hours: Monday-Sunday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Zui Spa provides prenatal bodywork tailored directly to your specific week of pregnancy. Their international team targets common discomforts like lower back pressure, tight shoulders, and swollen feet in a tranquil setting.

Patients can pick single sessions or multi-visit packages to maintain consistent care throughout their second and third trimesters.

We also appreciate that their daily operating hours make fitting a session around a busy work schedule simple.

While the therapeutic work is comforting, the treatment rooms rely on curtains for separation rather than solid walls. This open layout can make it challenging to maintain total warmth and privacy during cold winter months.

Pros

  • Tailored specifically to your pregnancy week
  • Convenient location near Zurich Bellevue
  • Flexible daily opening schedule until evening
  • Package discounts available for regular visits

Cons

  • Curtained room dividers reduce warmth and privacy

Really helped relieve the tension

Had a good experience at this spa. They recommended a massage that targeted my neck pain, and Cathy, who worked on me, had strong hands and really helped relieve the tension. The scents they use are really nice and it’s actually the first time I got a heating patch for my eyes, felt amazing!

Absolutely fantastic!

That was the best massage I’ve ever had! I received it as a gift voucher. Absolutely fantastic! The ambiance and lighting were very pleasant. The masseuse was lovely and very professional. It was a combination of Swedish and Thai massage, but better than in Thailand 🇹🇭. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back. …

Here in Elements Thai Spa Zürich, expectant mothers seeking authentic Thai wellness can experience specialised side-lying bodywork designed to open energy flow safely.

Their treatment incorporates gentle stretches intended to ease pelvic tension and support birth preparation without placing pressure on the abdomen.

I like that the practice uses only pure natural aroma oils without any synthetic additives, creating a clean sensory environment.

Their patients stay fully clothed throughout the session, which provides added comfort for women who prefer extra coverage during bodywork.

Plus, the tranquil interior design here creates a soothing atmosphere across all seven days of the week.

That said, occasional staff movements between treatment rooms can interrupt the quiet atmosphere during your massage.

  • Open seven days a week in Seefeld

Customer Reviews

Very detailed and on point

“Da” was perfectly good. She got some special skills Ive never experienced in other Thai Massage shops. Very relaxing, she knows exactly what good massage service means, very detailed and on point. The ambience and decorations are also very nice and different. Quiet and humble I would describe it. The bed has some kind of memory foam. Price is a little high, but ok for the location and quality you get. I will definitely go there again.

The atmosphere is calm, clean and relaxing

My massage was done Thip and she is very strong but also has a gentle touch, it relieved a lot of stress in my back and tension I was holding on to subconsciously. Thank you very much, I will be back soon!
